Sometimes inspiration comes from the most everyday moments — the cat Dīva is also very invested in the painting process; she is the artist’s loyal assistant, gifted with strong opinions. This time, inspired by the presence of this faithful companion, a unified composition has come into being, embodying a warm scene – the owner holding her cherished pet close as she gazes out through the window. We, the viewers, can only guess at what emotions are swirling in the minds of the lady and her companion.
